OVERVIEW

WHO CAN USE MANAGEUPS CIO?

ManageUPS CIO is a tool for Facilities Managers and Power Specialists

who oversee UPS and related power systems that support business-

critical loads.

CIO is also a tool for IT Infrastructure Specialists and ICT Service Desk

personnel responsible for incident control, alert response action lists or

asset management.

WHAT IS MANAGEUPS CIO?

ManageUPS

CIO is software for the Management Workstation element

in a system for managing UPS and related critical infrastructure in large

facilities, campus or enterprise network environments.

In general terms, CIO version 1.0 will provide tools for:

 Alarm Monitoring: A central console for visualizing and

investigating incidents and alarm conditions from network-

attached UPS.

 Asset Management: Tools for managing a population of UPS

devices as an Asset (Inventory). Including asset aging summary,

battery maintenance forecasting, capacity in use audit, asset

inventory by power rating or manufacturer, incident /alarm trend

analysis, etc.
